We are knee deep, harvesting foliage here in Wicklow Foliage Farm and are delighted to announce that we have added new product lines to our ever-growing stock.

Coming online this year are some beautiful bunches of fresh foliage including Photinia, Gold Crest, Olearia and more.

We have also added to our Wreath Accessories range, enabling our customers to get creative in the coming months with Halloween and Christmas on the horizon.

Before we finish up for the season, the enterprising elves would like to thank their customers for supporting their cottage industry over the last year and particularly in the run-up-to Christmas.

They have been working hard all year slicing, drying and bagging-up all sorts to perfectly adorn your wreaths, garlands and centrepieces.

As we begin our Winter wind-down for the Christmas season, we would like to thank all of our fabulous supportive clients, old and new, for your custom throughout 2022.

We are constantly blown away by your generosity of spirit and your understanding as we prepare your orders. We would like to thank our hard-working staff, and our friends and family for your unending support too. We continue to work though our orders to fill them before Christmas.

We will close for Christmas on Friday, 23rd December and re-open on Tuesday, 3ed January 2023.

Christmas season orders

The elves are busy in the foliage workshop, lovingly preparing and filling all the orders on the nice list!

We are super-busy filling orders for you, our lovely customers, and in order to maintain our usual standards of perfection, we can’t take any new orders for handmade wreaths until after 17th December.

Also, due to demand for our exceptional, fresh foliage, we will need at least three days’ notice for any orders of foliage at this time.

Emily’s Dried Fruit Business Thriving!

Following in the footsteps of her parents, Emily has added her own range to the family business.

Setting up in one of the farm out-buildings, Emily has taken to drying anything she can get her hands on. In the run-up to Christmas her stock of dried apple, lemon, orange and pear slices have proven a real hit.

She is always on the look-out for new products to add to wreaths. She has since added chillies, cinnamon sticks and lime and grapefruit slices to her ever-expanding range.

We are all very proud of Emily and her entrepreneurial spirit and look forward to seeing what she will add to the site next!

8,000 New Eucalyptus Plants Arrive in Redcross

We’ve been super busy this week – expanding our farm to the tune of 8,000 new trees.

We spent the week taking delivery of our fresh new stock of Eucalyptus trees and have been busy planting and caring for them in their new surroundings in the heart of the Garden of Ireland.

Our 78 acre foliage farm, consisting of over 160,000 trees is dedicated to producing the highest quality, freshest foliage, and delivering to clients all over Ireland.

As Wicklow’s only foliage farm, we produce high quality foliage, with an emphasis on affordability. Our wide variety of products are carefully grown and cared for, with minimal use of weed control.

Foliage grown at Wicklow Foliage Farm is 100% home grown in our farm in Wicklow. Over the last 3 years we have grown our farm by a further 28,000 trees and have developed and expanded our offering to include variagated hebe, cinerea, pulverulenta, goldcrest, photinia and more.

Hiring – driver wanted

We are recruiting a part-time driver to our team at Wicklow Foliage Farm. This will involve delivering our freshly cut foliage to our customers in the city and greater Dublin areas.

Every week will be different but Thursday is our main delivery day and requires an early start, usually between 3:30 and 4am in our yard and finishing at roughly 11:30 / 12pm.

Required:

A full clean drivers licence is essential.
Available from 1st October.
Flexibility: As well as main delivery day on Thursdays, there are usually two other deliveries taking roughly 4 hours each per week. These are not on fixed days so a degree of flexibility is required.
Dependability: As we approach our busy seasons (Christmas, Valentine’s Day and Mother’s Day) deliveries will be more frequent.
